Brigitte BENKEMOUN est une journaliste et écrivain Française née à Oran.
Elle arrivé à Arles à l’âge de 3 ans.
Monte à Paris et devient journaliste. Rédactrice en chef de diverses émissions, sur France 2, France 5, ainsi que sur canal + (avec son émission culte "en aparté" ), chef des informations à France Inter[1], .Participe également à la création de Zurban en tant que rédactrice en chef adjointe..
Elle est l'auteur de La petite Fille sur la photo paru chez Fayard en 2012, puis Albert le Manignique parut chez Stock en 2016, aujourd’hui elle revient avec

une succession de rencontres , Picasso, Chagall, Cocteau, Eluard, Staël et tant d’autres...
